Personal Statement
I've been working for over twenty years as a clinician, supervisor and educator in neurophysiotherapy.
Neurophysiotherapy is a field of practice to which I'm deeply committed, having witnessed the transformative impact it has on patients' wellbeing, helping them to accomplish the tasks and activities that enable them to live more active and independent lives.
The specialised, patient-centred therapy I offer at Libby Bamford Neurophysiotherapy is informed by my extensive study and practice in the field of neurological physiotherapy, which concentrates on re-training the brain and nervous system in order to recover functionality of movement.
I am passionate about working with patients to assess, diagnose and re-train their movement difficulties in ways that improve their quality of life, reducing physical and mental stress and allowing them to do the things that they want to do.
If you're experiencing a disease or injury affecting your nervous system that is making movement difficult, I invite you to get in touch with me at Libby Bamford Neurophysiotherapy, where I am able to work one-on-one with you to provide individually-tailored, best-practice care.
I look forward to working with you.
